I got a new toy...

John and I got to enjoy the last beautiful Friday afternoon of this summer (before Labor Day)... and while we were at it, we got a chance to also go to the Chicago International Toy and Game Fair, which was hosted at Navy Pier this past weekend. While we were there, I succumbed to a moment of japanese schoolgirl enthusiasm and saw a stand for something called Kissing Babies. You press the tummy of these teensy, stuffed, slightly weird looking things, and they deliver a realllllly cute "smack!.... I love you!" in a munchkin-like voice, along with blinking light. So amusing my reaction must have been when I played with them, that John got me one. Boy did we get a lot of mileage out of it. :)
